Detailed description

The Soundstage is a true state-of-the-art audio preamp featuring discrete analog input circuitry, as well as Dolby Digital, dts and Dolby ProLogic surround sound modes. Designed first and foremost as a high-end two-channel preamp, the Soundstage makes no compromises in its audio reproduction. The two-channel preamp input stages were reproduced for each of the six surround audio channels, which incorporate both Balanced (XLR) and single-ended outputs. The Soundstage also features two-channel and six-channel analog pass-thru, which permits analog audio signals to be directed to the power amps and subwoofer while avoiding the analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters. 

Whereas the Soundstage was designed for uncompromising two-channel reproduction, its surround sound capabilities are also second to none. With full auto detection of all surround modes, operation is as simple as dropping a disc in your player and adjusting the volume. The advanced circuitry provides greater dynamics and more detail than any other processor available. The Soundstage is fully featured incorporating 11 digital inputs, 8 composite and S-video inputs, I/R remote input, RS-232 communication, 5 volt trigger and it comes with a fully programmable/learner remote control.
